Feathered Hair & Big Glasses

Today's card of the day is Dave Collins 1986 Donruss

Dave has perfected that mid-80's feathered hair and big glasses look. This look has since dissappeared and now sits firmly in the nostalgia camp. But back in 1986 Dave Collins had it goin on. He seems to have that slightly nerdy yet still clueless and bewildered Dad look about him. If he was an actor he would compete for those roles Rick Moranis would get, perhaps he would have fit right in as the Dad in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or perhaps he lost out in final auditions to Joel Grey for the role of Ricky Schroeder's Dad in Silver Spoons. Such are the burdens that Dave Collins must live with.
