Dan didnt much like the uniforms of the White Sox in 1991 so he decided to take matters into his own hands by wearing the uniforms of the early 1900's era White Sox. At first this was just a cute idea, Kind of a "Pasqua being Pasqua" thing. But then he started taking things too far. He would arrive at the ball park wearing the latest fashions fo the day (and by day I mean early 1900's), complete with straw hat. He eschewed all technology. He started using those really thick bats they used back then and fielding with no glove. He talked in the vernacular of the early 1900's such as referring to lights as electric lamps and so forth. He was eventually released due to the dramatic loss of power and batting average that occurred from using the extra thick bats. He was last seen wearing his beloved tattered uniform pumping gas at a gas station off the NJ turnpike.
