Patrolman Gossage

Today's Card of the Day is Goose Gossage 1986 Topps

Goose Gossage. The name means pure intimidation. Look it up in the dictionary, under the term "Pure Intimidation" you will see a picture of Goose. Goose was one of the greatest closers in baseball history. He was intimidating to batters in his baseball days and he is intimidating to drivers in his new career, California Highway Patrolman. Imagine the sight one would see upon being pulled over as a man with tinted shades and a huge Fu Manchu mustache walks over to their car. You know Goose means business except you would never call him Goose. You would call him Mr. Gossage, sir.
