Today's Random Card of the Day is 1989 Fleer Sherman Corbett
Sherman was more well known as Sherman Corbett, CPA. He was the accountant for the California Angels. He showed up for team photo day in full uniform and somehow he found himself winning a spot in the Angel bullpen. Displaying a vast knowledge of the tax codes, which he often passed on to his teammates while they spent countless innings in the bullpen, he ended up appearing in 34 games that season for the bullpen depleted Angels.
