Here is my first non-baseball card of the day! When talking hockey, one must start with the greatest player of all time, the Great One, Wayne Gretzky. Here we see Wayne shortly after his trade to the Los Angeles Kings. It was after this trade, that Wayne cut his hair and styled it after the new wave bands of the 80's. (No one said Wayne was cutting edge musically). He then began a short stint as lead singer of Kajagoogoo replacing former lead singer Limahl on their '91 reunion tour. Wayne soon blew out his voice singing a particularly emotional version of "Too Shy" and he was forced to return to hockey.
