Believe it or not there was a time when powder blue was a popular color for baseball uniforms. Instead of road greys, teams like the Royals, Cardinals, Brewers, Mariners, Twins, and Expos were donning the powder blues. But no one pulled off the classic power blue vibe like the Phillies. The Phillies had the foresight to match powder blue with burgandy forming a look that says either "My God, I've stumbled upon the wardrobe of a flight attendant from the late 1960's" or "My God, I've stumbled upon the wardrobe of the ice cream man"
