Andre is wearing his specially designed orange sunglasses. Andre needed to get an advantage during his at bats, so he designed the perfect glare blocking orange sunglasses. He went on to have a very successful hitting career. Things turned sour once he was retired and he invented a pair of Xray orange sunglasses. He formed Thornton Industries and built a secret lair where he perfected the glasses and used them to begin a life of crime. He was ultimately defeated by Spider Man.
